These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of LeeFurnRestor's website and services. By accessing our website or using our furniture restoration services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Services

LeeFurnRestor provides furniture restoration, refinishing, and repair services including but not limited to:

  • Complete furniture refinishing
  • Structural repairs and restoration
  • Antique furniture restoration
  • Wood damage repair
  • Custom staining and finishing
  • Pickup and delivery services

2. Estimates and Pricing

We provide free estimates for all restoration projects. Our estimates are based on:

  • Initial assessment of the furniture piece
  • Scope of work required
  • Materials and labor costs
  • Timeline for completion

Estimates are valid for 30 days. Final pricing may vary if additional work is discovered during the restoration process. Any changes will be discussed and approved before proceeding.

3. Payment Terms

Payment terms are as follows:

  • 50% deposit required to begin work
  • Remaining balance due upon completion
  • Payment accepted via cash, check, or major credit cards
  • Payment schedules may be arranged for larger projects

Late payments may incur additional fees. Work may be suspended for overdue accounts.

4. Project Timeline

We provide estimated completion times with each project quote. While we strive to meet all deadlines, timelines may be affected by factors including weather conditions, material availability, or unexpected complications discovered during restoration. We will communicate any delays promptly.

5. Customer Responsibilities

Customers are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate information about furniture history and condition
  • Removing personal items from furniture before service
  • Ensuring access for pickup and delivery
  • Making timely payments as agreed
  • Inspecting completed work within 7 days of delivery

6. Liability and Insurance

LeeFurnRestor maintains appropriate insurance coverage for our operations. However, our liability is limited to:

  • The value of services provided
  • Direct damages resulting from our negligence
  • Replacement or repair of damaged items in our care

We are not liable for pre-existing damage, hidden defects, or damage resulting from normal wear and tear after completion.

7. Satisfaction Policy

We stand behind our work and strive for complete customer satisfaction. If you are not satisfied with our services, please contact us within 7 days of delivery. We will work with you to address any legitimate concerns and make necessary corrections at no additional charge.

8. Storage and Abandonment

Completed furniture not picked up within 30 days of notification may be subject to storage fees. Items not claimed within 90 days may be considered abandoned and disposed of at our discretion after proper notice.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on our website, including text, images, logos, and designs, is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use our content without written permission.

10. Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.

11. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms or our services will be resolved through good faith negotiation. If resolution cannot be reached, disputes will be subject to the laws of Alaska and resolved in Alaska courts.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on our website with an updated effective date. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

13. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
